We believe that learning is the key to successful collaboration and personal and professional growth. That is why we not only create the time to learn in our fast-paced daily lives, but also offer a variety of learning and development opportunities to meet different needs and requirements.
Developing and learning takes time. Most of the time, it's not a lack of opportunity, but a busy schedule. Not with us. You can use the weekly Focus Friday, when there are as few appointments as possible, not only for focused work, but also for active learning and development.
Through job shadowing, we offer you the opportunity to gain valuable insights into different roles within our business. In this way, we encourage cross-functional collaboration and your professional development. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to spend several days or even weeks in other roles, functions, or markets. This gives you an insight into different areas of work, improves your skills, and gives you a deeper understanding of our processes. This will always be arranged in agreement with your manager to ensure alignment with your current responsibilities and development goals.
Our global learning impulses are available free of charge to all Mercedes-Benz Mobility employees worldwide. Mercedes-Benz Mobility employees share their expertise in a specially designed learning concept. The 30 to 90-minute sessions are aimed at all employees worldwide. Every quarter, a selection of interactive learning sessions tailored to the needs of our employees is offered. In this way, we strengthen international networking between colleagues and inspire each other.
Access to digital learning platforms like LinkedIn Learning or Udemy expand and diversifie our learning programme. Depending on your interests and specialist area, you can take advantage of personal or professional development programmes, language courses, subject-specific training and more. We also offer curated learning collections based on our annual learning priorities, covering topics relevant to our culture, our jobs and our business.
To ensure a smooth start, we offer you a targeted induction programme at Mercedes-Benz Mobility. For example on »Day One«, your first day at Mercedes-Benz Mobility in Germany, you will get to know your buddy and all the other new employees. During the Global Connecting Days, you will gain insights into different areas of our company and have the opportunity to make contacts worldwide - both for your first few days and beyond.
