"Hi, my name is Tabea Hermann and I am a project manager for the Mercedes‑Benz High-Power Charging Network at Mercedes‑Benz Mobility AG.

Mercedes‑Benz has set the course for an all-electric future: by the end of the decade, Mercedes‑Benz will be ready to go fully electric. In addition to our goal of offering the most desirable electric vehicles, we want to provide our customers with a "best-in-class" charging experience. For this, we set-up our own public charging hubs worldwide.

In my job I´m shaping the charging network by selecting appropriate locations, talking to markets and partners and helping to create an elevated on-site experience.

My focus has always been on building something new from scratch and creating innovative products to excite our customers by providing them an elevated experience. After finishing my master in business administration, I took on several positions at Mercedes‑Benz - from designing future transportation services in our innovation center to further developing our Mercedes-me apps in the Digital House.

I feel extremely honored to be part of the movement of accelerating the transformation into an emission-free and data-driven future.

In our newly dedicated Charging Unit we’re combining different backgrounds and skill sets from business development, software and hardware engineering to operations.

I really enjoy working with my ambitious colleagues on making an impact when it comes to charging solutions and of course, to learn and grow from the challenges together!”
